
The MEDIA STUDIES exhibit features sculptures crafted from ash wood by students in VIS 418 / CEE 418: Extraordinary Processes. Co-taught by Joe Scanlan (Director, Princeton Visual Arts Program) & Sigrid Adriaenssens (Professor of Civil & Environmental Engineering), the class explored the structural and artistic possibilities of this material, which is in abundant supply owing to the spread of an invasive insect, the emerald ash borer (Agrilus planipennis).
